The first step is to speak with your own GP doctor or medical specialist and discuss the need for a scan. They have to refer you to us, as we cannot accept self-referrals. Please ask your own doctor to complete then send our referral form below to your choice of Spire or Nuffield hospitals Bristol.
Once your own doctor has sent their completed referral form to Spire or Nuffield hospitals in Bristol, you can contact your chosen hospital directly to book a date and time for your scan.
Thereafter, please contact us, giving as much information as possible about your symptoms, what you hope to learn from the scan, and who your GP or medical specialist is. We will gladly answer any medical questions you may have at this time. We will not contact your own doctor without your permission but need to know who this is.
Once performed, your scan will be read within a few days by one of our Consultant Radiologists, after which the hospital will send you and your own doctor our diagnostic findings report.
